2008 Innovation
Awards
In an effort to recognize
and share unique, new ideas that have been successfully
initiated and developed at Illinois community colleges, the 2008
Illinois Council of Community College Administrators (ICCCA)
Conference Committee is again sponsoring the Innovation Award.
This award honors those ideas judged most innovative and
successful according to the attached criteria.
Each community college is encouraged to
nominate only one outstanding “innovative idea” to better
promote the good things happening at our institutions. The
awards will be presented at the ICCCA Fall Conference in 2008.
The award winners will be notified on October 6, 2008 and will
be asked to present a one hour breakout session at the ICCCA
fall conference detailing their program.
Nomination packets are to be emailed to
Scot Smigel, Innovation Award Chairperson by September 15, 2008.
While the Illinois Community College
Economic/Workforce Development Association (ICCEDA) is
coordinating the award, a special committee will do the judging.
