 Admissions and Records Commission

There are approximately 140 members of the Admissions and Records Commission. The Commission elects its officers in the fall, and officers serve a three year term. The Commission is also affiliated with IACRAO on the state level and AACRAO on the national level.
 

 Adult Education Commission

The Adult Education Commission elects its officers, a chair and a vice-chair, in November at the annual Fall ICCCA Conference. Officers serve a one year term.
 

 Arts and Science Transfer Administrators

The Arts and Science Transfer Administrators Commission is a statewide organization that examines issues and proposes solutions to issues that concern transfer deans. This commission examines a number of topics of interest to arts and science deans, including online teaching, technology, scheduling, curriculum, assessment, honors programs, faculty issues, etc. The Commission allows transfer deans from institutions across the state to discuss issues that play a major role in their jobs at the institution. The Commission elects a Chair at their November meeting during ICCCA conference. The Commission meets three times a year including the November meeting.
 

 Career Commission

Membership in the Career Commission consists of administrators of career programs throughout the state of Illinois. A chair and vice-chair are elected at the Fall ICCCA Conference in November each year. The chair serves a one-year term. The chair of the Career Commission also sits on planning committees for the Illinois Council of Occupational Education.

Membership in the Illinois Community College Career Services Professionals Commission (IC3SP) consists of administrators and career services professionals in career services offices of community colleges throughout Illinois. A State Chairperson and a Treasurer are elected each year at the IC3SP spring meeting.

The Commission of IC3SP meets once each semester to provide professional development opportunities for its members.

 Chief Student Services Officers (ICCCSSO)

The Illinois Community College Chief Student Services Officers (ICCCSSO) is a network of executive-level administrative professionals of the 49 community colleges in Illinois. There are three successive officer positions each of which is held for one year: Secretary/Treasurer, Vice-President, and President. A new Secretary/Treasurer is elected annually at the fall meeting. The President serves as the ICCCA Chair.

ICCCSSO meets three times annually to discuss issues of importance to student services: an annual two-day winter meeting in February; a drive-in summer meeting in June; and in conjunction with the ICCCA conference in November. Regular topics discussed, monitored and acted upon include but are not limited to: Leadership & Core Values, Illinois Virtual Campus (IVC), Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), International Students, Financial Aid, Teacher Training/NCLB, Student Success issues, Phi Theta Kappa, ORS/Rehab issues and Dual Credit. ICCCSSO is an official advisory group to the Illinois Council of Public Community College Presidents.

This commission strives to support continuing educators in Illinois community colleges and enable them to provide the highest quality programs for it's constituents within their districts. Committees are established to support that purpose and provide opportunity for professional development and networking to commission members. Officers are elected at the Fall ICCCA conference, and serve a one-year term January-December. The commission is affiliated with the National Council for Continuing Education and Training.

The Developmental Education and Learning Commission is affiliated with the Illinois Association of Learning Assistance Professionals (IALAP) and the National Association of Developmental Education (NADE). The Commission elects its officers at the Fall ICCCA Conference and the officers serve a one year term.
 

 Economic and Workforce Development Commission (ICCEDA)

The mission of the Economic and Workforce Development Commission is to act as a catalyst to strengthen community college economic/workforce development activities and to provide a strong network for the exchange of information on business center and other economic/workforce development concerns. Membership is open to all community college administrators who are involved in economic/workforce development.

 Facilities Commission (ICCFOA)

Membership in the Facilities Commission is made up of representatives from the physical plants of each community college in the state. The Commission does not have officially elected officers, and members take turns chairing the meetings. Many members of the Facilities Commission are also members of the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers (ICCFOA).
 

 Financial Aid Officers

The Financial Aid Commission elects its officers at the meeting of the Illinois Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (ILASFAA). Officers serve a term of two years. The vice president of the Commission is also the ICCCA representative. The Commission is also affiliated with the Midwest Association of Financial Aid Administrators (MAFAA) and the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFA).
 

 Information Technology Commission

Dedicated to the learning college, the Information Technology Commission consists of approximately 40 senior technology leaders throughout the state. The commission meets at least three times a year for Executive and Technical Summits and exchanges information regularly through a list server. Commission members work together and share information on policy, legislation, governance, process, and technical issues. The commission President represents colleges on a state wide level by serving on the Advanced Engineering Taskforce (AET) in an advisory roll for the Illinois Century Network.
 

 Learning Resources Commission

The Learning Resources Commission is a subset of NILRC, a consortium of Midwest Community Colleges, Colleges, and Universities. The Commission meets approximately five times per year. Officers are elected in June and the elections are effective after the November ICCCA Conference. The ICCCA Chair serves a one-year term. For more information, please see the NILRC website.
 

 Marketing and Public Relations Commission

There are approximately 50 members of the Public Relations and Marketing Commission. Officers are elected in December and serve a one year term. Each year the Commission participates in a regional conference in October and a national conference in March.
 

 Resource Development Commission

The Resource Development Commission is dedicated to the advancement of external funding to support the community colleges of Illinois. The Commission sponsors a statewide conference for Illinois community college resource development professionals each September. Officers are elected at the statewide conference and serve a one-year term.

The Resource Development Commission's State Funding Task Force publishes an annual report which is the only comprehensive source of information for Illinois community colleges regarding competitive grant programs at Illinois state agencies. Task Force members meet with state agency personnel each summer and publish their report each fall. All Illinois community college resource development professionals are welcome to volunteer for the Task Force.

Commission members are encouraged to join the national Council on Resource Development (www.crdnet.org), which offers a listserv, a regional conference each spring, and a national conference in Washington, D.C., each November.

This commission is affiliated with ICCSAA (Illinois Community College Student Activities Association). Officers are elected at the spring conference. Officers hold a two-year term. The association President or a member of the association at the institution hosting the ICCCA meeting will attend.
